Coleman Trade Knives
Notice: 2 June 2008, The recent shipment of Coleman knives has arrived. Currently Jimmy is using both Maple (as stated below) AND a nicely grained premium walnut for the handles. I can not guarantee which knives will have which wood used. This line of authentic trade knives is produced by knife maker Jimmy Coleman. The designs are based on documented original 17th & 18th century trade knives recovered from or excavated at historic sites. All knives are hand forged from carbon steel, have full tangs that are attached to curly maple handles with three (3) pins and have an antique finish. See the following photos for individual specifications. Hand crafted scabbards or neck scabbards are available for these knives made to order. Please inquire. Coleman knives are available elsewhere. But, I believe you will not find them at better prices than what I can offer.
